Feb 29, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

-1C at cabin elevation. 31cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 71cm in the past 7 days. Total settled snowpack heights 235cm or more in mid to upper riding elevations.

Today: Snow, heavy at times, transitioning to a few flurries or snow showers late in the day.  Moderate to heavy accumulation, possible 15 to 25 cm.  Windy at times.  High 0, possibly trending cooler late in the day. Tonight: Mainly cloudy with a few flurries and snow showers.  Light to moderate accumulation possible.  Windy at times.   Low near -7.


GROOMING:

Note: There is up to 30cm of new snow on top of the grooming this morning. Trails will become whooped out quite easily - please help out your fellow riders by staying steady on the throttle while on the trail today.

Corbin: Open. Groomed Tuesday from staging area to McClatchie.

Coal Creek: Open. Groomed Coal Creek, Summit Trail groomed last night. Doug Dean and Matheson groomed yesterday. Martin groomed Tuesday.

Morrissey: Open. Morrissey Trail groomed last night. McEvoy groomed yesterday. South Pipeline from Wranglers Cabin to the Notch groomed Friday.

Hartley: Open. Groomed Friday. We are not able to complete our scheduled groom today due to significant avalanche hazard and the large slide paths affecting the trail.

Ram: Open.

Conditions on last nights groom up Coal Creek, Feb 29th.
