Feb 24, 2024 FSA Grooming Report


CONDITIONS:

-1C at cabin elevation. 0cm new snow in the past 24 hours. 13cm in the past 7 days. Total settled snowpack heights 184cm or more in mid to upper riding elevations.

Today: Mainly cloudy with a few flurries, minor accumulation possible.  Snow level 1200-1500 metres.  Windy at times.   High 0 or 1. Tonight: Mainly cloudy with a few flurries, accumulation from 1 to 4 cm. Windy at times. Low 0 or -1. Sunday: Snow, heavy at times.  Snow level 1300-1500 metres, moderate to heavy accumulation above, possible 12 to 20 cm. Windy, likely strong at times, possible blowing snow.  High 0 or 1, possibly trending cooler late in the day.


GROOMING:

Special Notice: We're catching up on critical snowcat maintenance this week after a very busy 7 night a week grooming program running for the past several weeks. Watch for snowcats on trails at all times as we move equipment around. There may be modified grooming routes and schedules over the week as we complete this important work.

Corbin: Open. Groomed Tuesday from the staging area to the McClatchie.

Coal Creek: Open. Groomed Coal Creek, Doug Dean, and Summit Trail last night.

Morrissey: Open. Morrissey Trail groomed last night. Pipeline from Wranglers Cabin to the Notch groomed yesterday.

Hartley: Open. Groomed Friday.

Ram: Open.
