jANUARY 3, 2026 FSA Grooming Report
CONDITIONS:
This morning temperatures are -2.5°C with light winds. 9cm new snow overnight. 22cm in the past 7 days, and total snowpack heights at cabin elevation are around 173cm.
Today: Cloudy with occasional snow or a few flurries, mainly during the early morning and again during the afternoon. Light accumulation, possible 3 to 6 cm. Windy at times. High near -1.
Tonight: Cloudy with occasional snow and snow showers, possibly heavy at times overnight. Moderate to possible heavy accumulation. Gusty winds. Low -3 or -4.
GROOMING:
Corbin: Groomed from the staging area to the McClatchie.
Coal Creek: Variable conditions on lower trail up to about 1500m (Paige’s Draw) - few open water in lower sections. Good winter riding on all upper Coal Creek trails. Coal Creek, Doug Dean, Summit Trail groomed last night. Martin groomed Jan 2.
Morrissey: Staging area to 1500m (graffiti rock) has low snow mixed with rock but good riding quality overall. Good winter riding on all upper trails. McEvoy and upper Morrissey groomed last night.
Hartley: Groomed from the staging area to a few km short of the East Fork of the Sulphur corner last night. Note there are still trees blocking the final stretch of the trail past where the grooming ends. Crews continue to clear the massive storm debris.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
