CONDITIONS:
This morning temperatures are -2.8°C at cabin elevation with light winds. 20cm new snow overnight up top. Total snowpack heights are around 208cm.
Note: Trails below 1540mm elevation are a mix of dirt, snow, and ice (lowest 3-4km of trail), above 1540m (Paige’s Draw or Graffiti Rock elevation) trails have good regular-season snow coverage. Upper staging areas are in effect for Morrissey and Coal Creek - stop at kiosk and see attendant.
Today: Cloudy with occasional snow or a few flurries, easing off mid or late afternoon. Light accumulation, possible 3 to 6 cm. Windy at times. High -1 or -2.
Tonight: Mainly cloudy with a 60% chance of flurries. Minor to low end light accumulation possible. Windy at times. Low -6 or -7.
GROOMING:
Corbin: Groomed last night from the staging area to the McClatchie. Full snow coverage from staging area.
Coal Creek: Coal Creek, Summit, Doug Dean groomed last night. Marginal conditions with variable snow coverage below 1320m elevation. Main staging area open and upper staging in effect. Stop in at trailhead kiosk to see attendant. Do not drive above upper staging area limit sign (turn around at washed out bridge and park facing downhill on Coal Creek road).
Morrissey: Morrissey groomed last night. Marginal conditions below 1320m. Upper staging in effect. Stop in and see kiosk attendant. Do not drive above upper staging area limit sign (turn around at 21km bridge and park facing downhill on Morrissey road).
Hartley: Groomed last night. Full snow coverage from staging area.
Ram: Open. No grooming.
