Bob Arnott Memorial Family Ride

December 27, 2026 | 10:30 AM | Coal Creek Staging Area

Join the Fernie Snowmobile Association for our annual Bob Arnott Memorial Ride, a casual, family-friendly ride celebrating good friends, great memories, and the community that brings us together.

We'll depart from the Coal Creek Staging Area at 10:30 AM and make our way up to the Rolling Hills Cabin, where we'll gather for our annual minute of remembrance to honour the friends and family we've lost. Afterwards, stick around for a BBQ (free for FSA Members) and some good company.

Remembering Bob Arnott

Bob was a longtime FSA president, dedicated volunteer, and passionate advocate for introducing families and new riders to snowmobiling. His contributions helped shape the club we know today, including securing the permit and overseeing construction of the Rolling Hills Cabin in 2012.

It's fitting that we gather each year at a place Bob helped build, celebrating the friendships, community, and love of snowmobiling that meant so much to him.

Everyone is welcome. Bring the family, bring a friend, and join us for a day of riding and remembrance. Please register in advance for event using link below to help us plan food and beverages for this event.
